Hi, Austin here, I'm hailing from Thomasville NC. I just recently started to cosplay with a custom Sith I created. However I am now looking into Republic Commando cosplay. (Lack of a better term is why I call it cosplay).

I am currently trying to save up to purchase an RC kit from polymerarmor. Only issue for me is that I have never constructed this type of armor before. So in short I am curious to know if anyone here could assist me in the fitting and assembly When I have the kit.

My Sith character is custom. He goes by Lord Siolius. I do own 2 ultrasabers for sparring (no sound) and will be purchasing a doublebladed with sound in the coming weeks.

I own the entire saga on DVD, a model Star Destroyer, 2 die cast models (1Sandtrooper, 1Bossk), I own (lost count) many star wars games. My overall favorites being KoToR, KoToR2, RC, SW:Battlefront, and SW:Battlefront 2.

Also am wanting to build an Old Republic era Sith uniform from KoToR (assistance will be needed haha)

I heard about the 501st a year or so ago but never looked into it due to personal assumptions that I'd have to pay for a membership.

Looking forward to conquering the galaxy with y'all.

Welcome! I am not apart of the 501st or the Carolina Garrison but I am in the process. I ordered my StormTrooper armor and just awaiting the box. I too am unfamiliar with the type of plastic but I am sure that after the Star Wars Celebration passes and more people are needing help, maybe some members can help us with an armor party.

I am about two hours away from you, Fayettevile, NC. I haven't been to Greenville. Do you have any pictures of your Sith Custome?

I do have pictures of my Sith outfit. The torso is in basic completion, I'm only needing to purchase a proper set of Sith pants or tunic and boots then it will be completed.

The leather armor was built by me. I have images of my ultrasabers as well.

Welcome Austin. We have already touched base in the emails and I am glad to see that you are here.

There are several people right now looking into doing RC armor to do the Delta Squadron. Will try to get you in contact with them. One has already done Scorch and we have one guy who has a fixer, but he may be moving out of the area due to a job.. It would be cool to see all four doing an event together.

We have several guys in your area that have done Clone and Stormtrooper armor. So they could give you a hand when you are ready. If I am free, I have actually helped two people build their RC armor.
