Hey everyone! I've had my helmet for a bit and I'm really wanting to get started building. Main problem is I lack the tools I need and a space to build. I live (and work on) USC's campus so I'm limited in space.
Is anyone willing to do any armor build parties in the area soon? I'm working on a clone ARC trooper. I'm hoping to get my whole suit done by this fall.

I think we are working on getting an armor party set up. No details though yet and I would assume probably be in the charlotte area though that has yet to be determined either. Not sure of any of the local folks in that area either that might can lend a hand. I personally had to pull out a towel and work in the apartment living room floor on my first build haha.

Dont know what kind of timeline you are looking at or if you are willing to travel an hour and a half to Summerville, but Im in a group of six guys starting builds near end of summer/early fall. We have the tools and at least 3 garages worth of space. Feel free to drop me a PM if you have not found anything by then and dont mind the drive. All six are TK.

Aw man I'd love to go but I'm gonna be gone for a month around that time, so depending on when it is I might not make it. And sadly I got my tk before I joined the fisd. It's a ctm props but I've seen several builds that have gotten accepted so I'm hopeful

I'm in North Charleston and am happy to help you Summerville guys. I don't specifically know TK'S but I have tools and have helped with Scouts, Pilots, Mandos, Jedi, G.I.Joes, X-Men and more.
I'm trying to coordinate with Tom to get him my Death Star wall this month. Perhaps we can make a day of it and meet you in Columbia if you find a space to work.

What is CTM Props? Never heard of that one. I'd be careful. If hate for you to do work and it not be accepted. Kind of like the EFX kits aren't accepted anymore in the 501st

I also have a ROTJ SE fett

in progress as well. And ctm is basically a high end recast(as far as recasters go) of I believe am, with a troopermaster helm? I forget the makers but the vetted ones and the armors accurate enough for entry level but not centurion

Maybe a bit further down the road than most of you are planning but I am looking at July for starting my build.
Ordering my ANH Stunt TK from TM the end of the month and Paul is saying right now 3-4 weeks from order until it ships so that puts me in July.
I am in Clemson but I have no issues traveling. My son is also working on his Scout, he might tag along as well...

I am in the Fayetteville area and would join in on an armor build party if there is an official date around. My AP kit is suppose to arrive today.
