Greetings all! Been a forum member for a little over a year and finally got my mobile app working to post. Many thanks to RougeTrooper today!
Just a quick introduction, my name is Conrad (Cort) Stayton. I work in law enforcement, married with 2 kids (another on the way). My son, Bradley is a huge fan of the 501st and everything Star Wars just like his Dad.
The past year I have done nothing but research and drove myself crazy on which route to go, but finally settled on a ESB TK (or "clean" white bad guy as my Son would call it). Already invested in the bucket (RS) converted to ESB and about to start from the neck down with projected completion date of September-November (before the rush of newbies). I have a good friend of mine taking the plunge with me, which makes the process that much more exciting.
I'm looking forward to everyone's feedback and friendship down the road. Very excited to be apart of it all.
Great job on the new website! Loving the new look and all the great info!
May the Force be with you all!

Oh! And two quick questions unrelated to the build. 1) Is it possible to change username on the forum? Made this one a while ago and would like it to match my FISD account. If not, no big deal. 2) Is it possible to get involved with local events in a support role, during my costume building phase, to start getting to know everyone? Thanks!

I made a mask/eyes for a Jawa for a Summerville police officer almost 2 years ago. I wonder if he worked on the rest of that costume at all. You know Wade Rollins?
Feel free to drop by Crawdaddy's tonight or any Wednesday to say "hi." I run karaoke there. I'll be the one with a lightsaber microphone hanging from my belt.
Also, you should stop by my May 4th party in Park Circle at The Sparrow. I believe Brad Butler will be there. He's working on an ANH stunt TK.

I actually work for Goose Creek PD and live in the Cane Bay area (Summerville address, Moncks Corner telephone prefix, and closest to Goose Creek lol) I've heard of Wade over in Summerville PD but dont know him personally.
As far as driving to events in the car, probably won't happen but I will give ya something better while posting my progress at the same time below. Enjoy!

Chris, you and my son at the Stingrays game! Ever since, he has been begging me for a "real" scout costume.

I know there's child sized ones out there. Ask David "Cockroach" Jordan where he got his kid's.

Looks like a link to the 501st forums, which he won't be able to get to without already being a 501st member. That's cool to know where to go for it though. I know it's been asked a few times over on BSN and never saw a direct link, just "ask this guy where he got his."
