(NC) June 6 - Triangle VisionWalk (Raleigh)

A security detail was requested for the Triangle Vision Walk in Raleigh North Carolina on Saturday, June 6, 2015. TK896, TK10500, and ID8935 were assigned this detail. While keeping an eye out for Rebel scum, they were able to promote the Empire by meeting and taking photographic images with those attending the event. Multiple teams of walkers took group photos with the troopers and officer 8935 recorded images as well.

As of that morning $95,000 had been raised for research in combating vision loss due to retinal and other issues. The folks running the event were thrilled to have us there and even got our officer to participate in the "heavy lifting".

The highlight of this event for me was having two vision impaired kids "see" by touch our armor and seeing the smiles on their faces.
