CG members attended Super Hero day and a Mini Young Adult Con - at the Dare County Library

Members interacted with approximately 45 younglings who had prepared shields and capes for battle. Picture taking and hand shaking was plentiful. The leader of this young band led the younglings through simulated battle to protect the libray from the Imperial Forces. The first hour was spent trying to turn these K - 5th graders to our side.

The next hour was spent with a group of theater minded middle school and high schoolers who were dressed in thier own hand made costumes. Much discussion was had about the 501st and costuming. I think we have a few future recruits.

That was fun buddy and I'm really glad that our group is growing , we are really starting to look like something. Just wait until next year when you've got your other costumes finished LOL.

It looks like you all had a lot of fun. It is always a great time when you get to troop with your kids.
