Well got the call from Vader to head down to Florence see about recruiting some new help and raising money for Make A Wish Foundation. As I report just a few Jedi In the area. I did see a lot of soon to be little troopers around and made sure they knew how to find us in the near future.

It was just my daughter and I for a little while then a fellow Tie Pilot - Brad Lee - TI - 8560 showed up to give a hand before having to depart. All said and done with a good amount of photos taken, even a line around 3:30, we raise $72.53 for Make A Wish. This was my first time out so after 6 hours of Trooping I had to call it. It was a blast and people had a great time. Put the word out Carolina Garrison 501st was in the building and had a lot of kids and adults smiling.

I guess you can say the best part is seeing kids faces when I let them hold my blaster. They really liked shooting the SnowTrooper and I'm not gonna lie, so did I. Thanks again Jason Hill and Jason Boyd without you guys helping me out I would not have been able to pull this off.

Well I'm going back to Hoth to chill out for a while. See you guys around!!!!

Glad you held down the fort (Hoth) for the rest of us. How's the heat and air flow in that helmet?

Oh man it's has no air flow....a lot of moisture build up. But when I stopped using the chin strap and mic. it was a lot better. Not talking slowed done the moisture and without the strap on my face I wasn't so close to the front. With no break in the 6 hour time I really just stepped aside put my hand inside the mask cleaned off the lens and keep on going. So many people they had me right when you walk in on the right.

But it was awesome I think it was a real eye opener. Ready for Logan's get together. And thank goodness for command strips, had to use one for my armor on my wrist. It got so hot the straps got wet and didn't stick so I glad I brought them.

All said just gonna put a few piece on a little tighter and away I go.

It wasn't possible for me to suit up for this one because my wife was out of town and I was on my own for the weekend with my daughter. But we came out to support the show (It really is a fun show). Michael was suited every time I saw him.... frell.. I still don't know what he looks like :)

This is just the beginning for me I'm sure we will get to troop on the field together in the future. I sure did have a blast with the kids! They like to hold the blaster I got all the little ones who looked a little scared or shy to smile all you have to do is....give them the BLASTER!!!!
