I'm all set with hotel and tickets!

This will be the first celebration for my wife, myself and my nephew. We all hope to have one or more outfits done in time.

Bought tickets as soon as they went on sale and got 2 different hotel reservations in case more family wants to join us....if not we will decide what hotel would be better later this year.

I do have a question for those who are familiar with Orlando Convention Center.....there are 2 buildings shown on the map. One close to Hilton, the other kinda in the corner as the road curves....which one is actually used or is it both buildings? Never been there before and have a work conference there 2 weekends before so at least I can get an idea of everything before the actual celebration. Are any activities held at any of the hotels or anything? Any recommendations for people who have never been?

It's the whole building, when i went in 2010. one hotel had things going on, trading cards, pool party,etc.. Just ask members when you get down there, they will put you in the loop of whats going on.

Yes, the hotel is connected with a walk way.

So let me make sure I understand.... both buildings of the convention center are used? Sounds huge!

Hopefully at some point I can find a Hyatt room for the week before it happens. I have a strong dislike for Hilton due to several bad experiences, but I am happy to have at least a room reservation for the full week there at the convention center.

The Hyatt Regency is closest to the entrance and if I am not mistaken the building closest to the Hyatt is the only one used. Hilton also connects via skywalk but on the opposite side of convention center.

Orange County Convention Center is massive. Best location for Celebration

^ Very true, I was not a fan of the set-up at last years SWC in Cali. Orlando convention center is much better! Can't wait!
