This has been a rework in progress, and I feel like I'm nearing the home stretch before weathering. Looking for basic approval, so not too worried about MEPD SWAT with this build. Below are some WIP pictures, any feedback is appreciated.

The room... :sandtroopero:

Helmet WIP...looking forward to a fan bracket and then installing the UK hearing assist system:

Legs... Need cover strips on both rear thighs:

Chest and Back assembled:

AB/Kidney plate...Looking for confirmation I'm on the correct path, intending to trim the excess ABS from the outside edge of both paint masking tape lines (roughly 2") which will adjust fitting better as it was originally too large and was joined with a cover strip on the inside (I plan on using the 6 rivets with 1" non-roll elastic).

AB Belt needs button covers over the three rivets, and the Three button panel is getting removed and replaced with a properly sized Three button:

Yeah man , you are on the right track. Sorry, I got that ABS in the mail, tomorrow. Got buried in the pile buddy.

Yes, I can try to make those buttons if you need them. And yes trim ypthe armor to fit you comfortably with a little room to grow and breathe .

Buttons would be much appreciated! Is there a required return edge on the AB and kidney plate where they will join together? I've got a heat iron now, so it's not an impossible task. Alot of this build is just me being lazy, which is why I'm hoping to get to a build party for the final push motivation, last weekends with Kenneth would've been great, just work got in the way. Thanks for the help.

Progress is moving along... :sandtroopero: Did a fit test this evening to see where I'm having issues.

1. Not sure how to fix the right side of the butt plate as it sticks out

2. the side seam between the kidney plate and AB plate isn't sitting well with the 3 rivet strap assembly, one end seems to be sagging, any tricks for fixing that would be greatly appreciated. (not pictured, but I can get one up if guys aren't sure what I"m talking about)

Pics below: Any comments greatly appreciated! (DISCLAIMER: I dressed myself, only thing I couldn't snap was the groin strap *hanging in pics) :D

Forearms are drying now, and then it's time to start the application I think.

Yup, she's dirty...hahah. Looking good. Might suggest add one light pass to even it up. Otherwise if you are happy, don't mess with it. Your project is really come together and I am glad to see you at this stage. Looking good.

I know on mine, I weathered and took it off, weathered and took it off... Not on purpose, but because I wasn't leaving any paint on the armor in the process. So I started to learn to leave a little bit with each pass, and the multiple layers really sets off the "weathered" look. So basically the learning process was a big part in the way my armor turned out.

You got this buddy. Nice work.
