(SC) Nov. 26 Toys-4-Tots News 2 Harbor Cruise (Mt. Pleasant)

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
News Channel 2 (Rob Fowler), the Marines, and members of the Navy hosted the annual Toys-4-Tots Harbor Cruise. Spirit Line Crusies allowed people to ride on a 1.5 hour harbor cruise as long as they donated a toy.
We showed up with toys to donate along with others. In total, there were approximately 230 toys donated and about 218 people on the cruise.
The morning started with us posing for pictures by the ticket booth. We then moved to the ramp leading onto the ship and welcomed people as they boarded. We then boarded the ship and mingled with the crowd on all 3 levels of the ship. We did take a few breaks to get something to drink and eat.
A lot of pictures were taken and a lot of toys were donated. This was a great event and the turnout was wonderful. The weather could not have been nicer. We definitely will do this one next year.
Also, News 2 would like for us to make appearances at other events during the year.
Did this event support a charity? If yes, which charity?:
Yes. Toys-4-Tots. Approximately 230 toys were donated.

10:30 am to 1:30 pm. 3 Hours total, with 1.5 hours on the ship.
Indirect Funds Raised (Total money raised by event):
Indirectly, if each toy was valued at $20, then the event could be valued at approximately $4,500.
