Carolina Garrison

Hi everyone!

I recently purchased the Anovos ANH Stormtrooper kit and am interested in joining up with the 501st when I finish. I'm part of the Anovos facebook group and saw that many members get together for build parties and was curious if there was anything like that coming up soon for the Carolina Garrison? I've been consulting the whitearmor forums and working pretty slowly but I'd be interested in getting together and knocking out the rest of my build (could also use some help with sizing and getting everything put together correctly).

I'm in Raleigh and would love to know if there are any troopers nearby that would be interested!

I'll be glad to be done with Kylo, and move onto ANH Stunt Armor. That was my lifelong dream. How I wound up messed up in this Kylo Ren mess is quite beyond my capacity.

I just ordered a kit from Anovos too. First time builder myself and now the waiting game with the shipping from Anovos. I am not to far from Raleigh. Nice to have you here.

All done with my armor! I sent in my photos yesterday but just saw Jason's post about being away for a bit. There's a couple adjustments I need to make for comfort, but I'm really happy with the way it came out.. hopefully it'll pass approval.

I'm looking forward to trooping soon!

Looking good! The approval will probably come down to rivets and the sniper knee. The sniper plate looks like it is attached a little low. Even when properly attached it is pretty common for it to slip under the thighs and that can be fixed with foam padding inside the thigh and shin. From the picture, everything looks in order. Good luck and welcome to the CG!
