Sci-Works museum now named Kaleideum had its annual Sci-FI Sunday on March 5th 2017. They once again invited the 501st to attend and take pictures with the crowd. The attendance was great and was probably the largest crowd we have seen since trooping at Sci-Works. Guest that attended Sci-FI day got a chance to
Celebrate space exploration and science fiction! Learn about recent NASA expeditions, enjoy space-themed crafts and demonstrations, and meet Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion! Costumes were encouraged and many children showed up in Star Wars costumes. Sci-Works is always a fun troop and we always are treated well when we troop there. After the troop some of the group headed to Burger Batch in Winston Salem for a after troop dinner and milkshakes. We look forward to next years annual troop at Sci-works or shall I say Kaleideum.
