Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
BrickFest Live is a LEGO Fan Experience for enthusiasts of all ages. The BrickFest Live LEGO Fan Experience is filled with hands-on attractions and activities built to inspire, educate, and entertain.

Members of the Carolina Garrison setup a large booth featuring a Death Star wall backdrop as well as two tables featuring props and 501st Legion literature. Our guests from the BB-8 Builders Club provided a Millennium Falcon backdrop as well for R2D2 and BB-8 to pose in front of. The 501st Legion booth did not disappoint con-goers. We had a continues queue all day long on both days. Very overwhelming at times. We even heard reviews that we were the biggest hit at the convention itself. During our 2-day event weekend, we also helped raised donations for MUSC Children's Hospital.

Around noon on Saturday, March 18, we were asked to participate in a photo op with the large Darth Vader LEGO mosaic that was built by convention go-ers. A raised stage platform was setup and fans took photos of us from an elevated viewpoint with the mosaic for 5-10 minutes.

If only it was possible to be in two places at once. I'm a huge Lego fan and would have loved to come to this but Oak City was the same weekend and closer. Great job on the set up and displays! Glad we had a presence and hope we go back next year.

I think there's another brickfest in Charlotte this year. It was fun, and Mark was the best event contact I've ever worked with.

I agree. Mark Noel was very accommodating. He told me if we wanted to setup an appearance at Charlotte Brickfest event, to just call him.
