New guy in Raleigh

Good day everyone! I am completely new to all of this and must say I am loving every moment! I am in the Raleigh area and have just decided on going with the Nova Elite as my build. Little background on me, work for the US Govt for past 10 yrs after getting out of USMC. I just found out about 501st after attending a close family friends funeral for their 9yr old boy who was an honorary member of the 501st out of VA. My son and I were amazed at the wonderful display the 501st provided for little Beckett and his father at the ceremony. I knew then I had to be a part of such a great group! Don't want to ramble to much as I'm not really sure what all to put here but really looking forward to figuring out to get this going and what steps to take to begin my journey. Cheers!
