(SC) April 19 - Rogue One at Lander University (Greenwood)
Posted: Thu Apr 20, 2017 10:46 am
Date:
April 19, 2017
Location:
Lander University
320 Stanley Ave.
Greenwood, SC
Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
We arrived around 5:00 and made our way to the room provided for us to change. The accommodations were very nice, and they provided us with some very cold, refreshing water to drink. When the time came, our escorts guided us into the main common area of the student center. Of course, we drew immediate attention. People were freaking out like little kids at Christmas. After all that fanfare, we made our way into the dining hall where we went table-to-table meeting enthusiastic fans. There’s no telling how many photos we posed for, but it was a lot. I was personally amused that whenever we entered an area with students, they seemed to all in unison raise their smart phones to snap a picture. It was a fun experience and a great way to promote the university’s screening of Rogue One.
