Free Comic Book Day is an annual event founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book that they’ll love. Every first Saturday in May, the industry comes together to give away free comics and encourage fans, both old and new, to flock to the best place in the comic book community: local comic shops. The Upstate crew arrived on scene before 9:15am, dressed out and made our way to greet a long line of attending locals. The line was long! It was all along the side walk and down the street several times! News channel 4 was on site , along with the Blood connection.
Borderlands provided our group drinks, food and Free comics.
