I've been reading over the weapons policy for the convention in two weeks. I'm wondering if they'll allow our obviously fake sci-fi blasters. I'll be bringing Krennic's D-29 pistol and plan to keep it holstered most of the time.

From what I read, their will be a table near the enterence that you have to take the weapon(s) to and they inspect it and put a sticker on it.
At least, that's what I gathered.
This will be my first Con with a costume, so I haven't worked with this before. But I know I'll need a MSP5 and DH-17 "approved" for the con ;)

That's fairly standard. I emailed the con to double-check.

Con replied, basically just said to check it at the desk and make sure it was zip-tied.

Sorry - so do they zip tie it or do we have to do something prior?

They will put a "peace bond" zip tie on for you. Or some type of ribbon letting people know it's been checked.
