So just a couple quick questions...
First; I've been doing some research and found a complete set(All armor pieces, boots, gloves, undersuit, etc) from RS Prop Masters. I was curious to know how well their armor holds up during troops?
Second; The description of the armor says the armor is black, but in the photos, it appears more of a gray. That could just be the lightning, but a second opinion would be nice.
Anything you guys know about RS would be greatly appreciated. They seem a bit pricey, but if everything's included in the armor and it's 501st accurate, it's worth it to me.
Thanks guys!

Re: Nova Trooper Armor
Yes RS, is awesome. Great choice. It is black, with gold details. Nice selection and let us know if we can help.
ABS holds up better than PVC, but yes their armor is fairly durable.

Re: Nova Trooper Armor
I got my armor from RS and I can say that they are an excellent choice! They are very nice and willing to work with you and do things for you if you want them to. Now if you get a complete commission, like I ended up doing after having trouble building their kit when I knew nothing about armor building, it should be good to go. However I did have a few problems with it myself with my ANH TK. The thigh pieces I got were a little too long, still kinda are, I need to to trim them more, and you might need to trim them to be able to walk more effectively and/or comfortably. The belt I got from them was also a little too short, I had to extend it with some spare canvas belt material I had, you could always inquire about it to them. You'll also probably need to get a screen frown for the helmet, as otherwise people can see your face, especially during flash photography. Trooperbay sells one that works nicely. They suit has held up well in troops, I've damaged it a little but its mostly just my fault that its happened.
Here is a pic of me at a troop wearing it, i'm the one with the pauldron.

Here is a video of someone putting a RS suit on too, so you'll know how its put on if you do a complete commission.

Now I'd say its worth considering trying to build it a kit rather than get the complete commission. I don't know if they'd offer a kit to you but their is probably a vendor that sells black ABS TK armor, regardless, if you'd build it yourself you'd have a better understanding of the armor and how to repair and maintain it, as well as having the satisfaction of being able to say you built it yourself. It's also cheaper, as you probably know. You seem to be better connected than I was with the local group when I was trying to build my kit, so maybe see if anyone around you could help you build a kit if you go down that route? Might be helpful anyway, you'll probably have to paint the designs onto the armor anyway regardless.
Anyway, they are a good choice and I like my armor a lot!

Re: Nova Trooper Armor
Thanks guys!. My main concern with getting a kit is my lack of building knowledge. I also really don't ask for help very often, but may have to force myself to change that!
All I plan on doing is trooping around NC. Definitely appreciate the feedback!!
