TK Fully Assembled Ready To Wear Costume?

I’m looking to possibly buy a TK costume that’s fully assembled and ready to wear. Has anyone else on here done that? What are some good places to go? I heard RS Propmasters is good. What about Stormtrooper-costumes.com? They supposedly have sold a lot of their costumes to 501st members and have a link to the Carolina Garrison on their site. Jason Hill said he could provide the armor and that there’s members that can commision the build. So in a nutshell I want to get a complete costume without any building etc on my part lol. I appreciate any help or tips, thanks!

Hey PJ! Glad your interested in joining he ranks. RS Prop Masters is a fantastic source for ready to wear commissioned armor. You’ll pay a lot but the quality of it is fantastic. I would highly recommend going them. It should be noted also that it takes about two months to get your set so be prepared to play the waiting game.

Thank you! Anyone else you can recommend? I’d be up for buying a kit but I would want someone locally who could build it for me. I heard there’s not a lot of First Order armor available now?

Have you considered building a suit yourself? The reason I ask is that it really isn't that difficult. It's pretty much cut & glue, like a model kit. The benefit is a sense of pride, the armor fitting your body correctly, and knowing how to repair it when the time comes, and it will come eventually. It's also far cheaper to build a suit yourself. We have people who can provide the kit, you'd just need some simple tools and some time. And armor parties are fun.
The only downside to a kit is that Boots, blaster and softgoods are separate, of course. But those can be found easily and again, it's cheaper not to commission a suit. Just some thoughts to consider.
If you do go for a full commission, RS would be my first choice. Very costly and lengthy wait but excellent armor.

I haven't really considered it because I'm horrible at that kind of thing easy or not lol. How much money can I save if I built it myself? Do you know any vendors besides Anovos that does full commission First Order TK? Reading around on Whitearmor.net it seems that there isn't much available when it comes to First Order.

We have some local members that offer build commissions. We can even resource the armor locally as well. Shawn Cantey from Crooknight Trooper Packs does commission builds. Jeremy Pastros can hammer out a build fairly quickly. I can help Supply hard armor. While RS is top of the line , you may be able to resource it in Garrison.
Walts Trooper Factory offers assembly services. (Connecticut)
TrooperMaster sells fully built (U.K.)
RS full commission (U.K.)
Check your budget and weigh out your options , see what works best.

Hey Jason! Do you remember emailing back and forth with me the other day? Is Jeremy Pastros a member of the Carolina Garrison? I know a full commission would be around $1500. I’m wondering how much I could save if I have someone else commission it?

Armor 500 ish
Boots 100
Undersuit 50
Belt/holster 80
Labor 500
Glues Velcro and strapping 20
Assuming all goes well.

What about a blaster? I didn't see it on the list. So basically I could save $200-$300?

Blasters are optional and can range from 50-300 depending on model and brand.
Potentially you could save 500 or better doing yourself. But yes I imagine you could save a few hundred resourcing locally.

Toad, where do you live? I'm actually looking forward to having armor parties with my buddy, who is also looking at getting involved. Something cool about getting together, tippin a few back, and watching each other's costumes come to life. And it's always nice to hae an extra set of hands and eyes.
