Good luck with the thighs...when assembling mine they were the bane of my existence. The thighs were the final pieces I worked on. Finally got them perfect in the end though.

I think I got mine pretty good. You're right though they were such a pain! I had to take a lot of the top of them to fits better. Night have to rip them apart and take some more off or tighten them up. I just don't want to make them to small and take away from the overall look. I have all the armor pieces assembled just maybe a couple hours of work left. Been trying to decide what to do for boots since TK boots is out for several more weeks.

A year ago I was on a wait list from TK boots since I have a size 13 foot.

I actually tore apart my thighs 2-3 times to make them right. You also don't want to make them too big otherwise they'll look like they're swinging like bells when u walk. I'm sure you're on the right path

Like Jason said try not to fall into the bell look with the tighs.

Boots I love the TKboots. My first pair of boots were not them but the real deal riding boots (Jodhpurs/Chelsea) and they are not very flexible...the TKboots brand are. If you can wait for TKboots I would (IMHO)

Well boots have just been ordered. Went and ordered a pair of caboots. I know those are not 100% correct but they will get the job done for me. I do plan on also getting a pair of tkboots once they get back in stock. They should be here I would assume late next week. So I plan on having all the small stuff I have left to do finished next weekend and should be ready to get some pictures up for approval! Only have a couple hours of work left on the armor with the small bits.

Yes armor is complete and just approved!!! Waiting for the paperwork to go through on the 501st site! :stormtrooper:
I was also able to order a pair of TK boots, the first pair I had was starting to hurt my feet, this are ten times better and at half the cost I paid to start.
